2. Information collected
The site collects only the following information:
- Contact form: name, email address and the content of the message you voluntarily submit.
- Newsletter: email address and, where applicable, first name, when you subscribe of your own initiative.
- Visit statistics: aggregated browsing data (pages viewed, session duration, referral source, device type, truncated IP address) collected for audience measurement.
No sensitive information within the meaning of the law is requested. No online sales are currently made through the site and no payment data is collected.
3. Purposes
The information is used solely to respond to your enquiries, to follow up on a mandate or collaboration, to send the newsletter where you have consented to it, and to improve the content and performance of the site.
4. Consent
Collection is based on your consent, given by submitting a form or by subscribing to the newsletter. You may withdraw that consent at any time, free of charge, by writing to ab@anprentberwin.com or by using the unsubscribe link included in every mailing.
5. Disclosure to third parties
Your information is never sold, rented or traded. It may be processed by the technical providers required to operate the site: the host, the email service, the newsletter tool and the audience measurement service. These providers use the data only to deliver the requested service. Some of them may host data outside Canada, notably in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
6. Retention
Information is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, and until you request its deletion. A deletion request is processed within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention obligations.

The site is served over HTTPS. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or destruction. As no system can guarantee absolute security, transmitting information over the Internet remains at the user’s risk.
8. Your rights
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the laws applicable in Ontario, you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, to withdraw your consent, and to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
