1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website you visit. It allows certain information to be retained from one page to the next, or from one visit to the next.
2. Cookies used on this site
- Strictly necessary cookies: they ensure the site functions, secure the forms and enable page caching. They cannot be disabled without impairing browsing.
- Audience measurement cookies: they count visits in aggregate form in order to understand which pages are consulted and to improve the site. They are not used to identify you personally.
- Preference cookies: they remember the language you selected.
No advertising cookies are placed for retargeting purposes.
3. Retention period
Session cookies expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies have a limited lifespan, generally from a few days to twenty-four months depending on their function.
4. How to refuse or delete them
You may configure your browser to block cookies or to delete them after each session. The settings are found in the privacy preferences of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain site features from working correctly.
